Prescriptiony goodness!
2002-Oct-10, Thursday 10:49 pmOh, and I almost forgot. I LOVE insurance companies. They rule our lives, in every way, and we just can't thank them enough for it!
Take today's little jaunt to get my refill of Allegra, and this nifty topical cream. Dr. Dopp (who you may recall is my all time favorite GP) was kind enough to write me a Rx for 90 count, Allegra 180's, with three refills. More than enough to get me well into next year.
The nice lady at Walgreens gave me some very informative and refreshing news. My insurance company (United Healthcare) will only allow 30 day supplies of the drug, regardless of what my Dr. has prescribed. WOW! And to think I've been wasting all this time and money on going to actual trained professionals, building relationships with them, getting reasonable diagnosis programs, and more. All this time wasted; I should have just gone straight to the insurance companies since they clearly know best!
But, on the bright side, with no insurance at all, the same 90 day supply will run me $167. woohoo! It's so cheap, Allegra for everyone!
