I nearly forgot. While sitting through some drivel previews prior to AvP, God himself came down, opened the heavens, cast a fairly lame-assed actor in the role, and has brought for The Movie: Constantine.

I am obviously going to have to put all my other reading on hold while I reread all the graphic novels I have of his. And I'm going to have to do a good deal of mental editing in order to filter out Keanu's horrible acting and replace it with some strapping hottie that can make me believe he's an innate occult god on earth.

For the first part, yeah, it's actually a series. I have many of the graphic novels that are collections of specific issues that are interrellated. And they do, in some cases, fucking rule!

As to the second, if we do, I'll have to take it on myself to eliminate said source of 'whoa's as they are SOOOOOO inappropriate for JC. Not to mention that I bet he won't actually smoke the near-trademarked Silk Cut's, either. :)

Oh. I guess I should mention as it's probably not clear. Constantine (John Constantine to be precise) is the name of the main character in Hellblazer. He IS the Hellblazer, of course, but that's the name of the comic that inspired the flick. So, if you're out looking for 'Constantine' comics, you'd do better to devote your searching to Hellblazer instead. :)
