It's just a few episodes into it, and already I am thrilled to my core with the new Battlestar Galactica.  The plots, the acting and the actually good, believable drama are all adding up to making something that I personally feel will rival ST:tNG as far as some of the best scifi out there.  And, of course the rather blatant displays of generic newtonian physics for the space fights are making the effects themselves rival, in my mind, the outside shots of Babylon 5.
