For their stupidity cleverly disguised as a 'service'.

Hooray for usage above and beyond what they view as 'acceptable' on the 'net. At some point, the backbone providers will grow up and start charging just flat access, regardless of traffic. It'll be a reasonable rate, that covers the anticipated regional growth as well, and their base profit, and that will be that. Then suddenly we can all win, rather than having to play these games all the time.

WI, and the Middle East and now the quake and fallout in Japan must NEVER obfuscate what the Retardicans are doing to *actual* democracy and actual rights across this country. They kept screaming about government takeover of in their speeches and lies. But in MI, there's actual, real, legitimate government takeover that is entirely destroying local democracy, and only the Rachel Maddow Show seems to have reported it. Corporations running the city/town councils and school districts, without any requirement, whatsoever, they do so with an eye toward the people affected, or toward the needs of the students. The Gov can declare a state of financial emergency, put a corporation in charge, and that corporation can literally liquidate any asset, without prior notice, can fire entire city councils, without notice, can take over schools without notice, all under the auspice of fiscal emergency.

An emergency situation the Retardicans were in no small, tiny or insignificant part responsible for. And now, to clean it up, magically, they're going to privatize cities and schools in MI. Yeah. No corporate payback for political contributions there.
