How'd that happen??

ssurgulWell, turns out that the steady itching that BJ has been doing is not the result of shampoo/soap left in his coat from the last bath he got.
Turns out he's got fleas. I know this because I decided to go ahead and wash him down today, before work, and give him two or three rinse cycles, as it were. Well, during one of those rinse cycles, the flea shampoo I had to use for lack of anything else, actually let me wash out a flea corpse. And when I was drying him off, there were three more.
Where the HELL did those come from?? I'm thinking it's either the mice that are starting to invade the house in search of food and warmth, or it happened AT the groomers I took him to for the bath. Either way, I'm not happy at all about this.
Dammit. Didn't I waste a LOT of time trying to fight these off last year, with nearly no success?
