Now what more could you possibly need than to say that First Amendment should be replaced with "Congress shall make no law that abridges a child's right to not have to think about their bodies in any form that shall be deemed harmful or sexual in any nature. That's terrific. What did you do to actually protest that group, how they accomplished this goal, and what they stand for (aside from pursuing the law)?

I'm not saying everyone has to do everything. But, I've heard from several Christians that simply shake their heads, keep their mouths shut, and walk away from problems like this. They don't actively speak out against nutjobs like Falwell or Limbaugh or Coulture. They just hope that everyone else understands that they don't think that way.

If you don't condone it, speak out against it. It's not a great argument to say that if you don't speak out, you're condoning it, I realize that. However, that's precisely the sort of mentality that radical arm of your faith has. They take silence as assent. I will happily stand arm in arm with any and all Christians that try and clean up their general faith by exposing these ... people for the fundamentalist psychos they are. But don't expect me to 'understand' that not speaking out is somehow just as effective as speaking up. In this day and age, especially, these sorts of attacks on any form of freedom must be quashed by everyone who's outraged by it.
