Hoo-Fucking-Ray!!!
2008-Jul-04, Friday 05:34 pmFinally got the stupid ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 doing proper video capture on the media workstation. For the longest time the AVI grab would get the audio and video totally out of synch, and anything else would capture a maximum of 12K on the drive. Even more fun if you tried to select the file to delete, it would kill Windows Explorer. Amazing technology there!
But, because of some fixes that only screwed things up further, I reformatted and redid the install this time with the original (and VERY out of date) factory driver disk for the video card and system. Now, I can select the MPEG4 encoding scheme, get it working correctly, and then use the DivX converter to move that into a DivX format as well. FINALLY!
