Renewed culinary inspiration!

I was inspired from the rest of my shopping trip to try more of that sauce elsewhere.
1 chilled d'Anjou pear, sliced and cored
Spread on a plate and top with cherry-apricot sauce detailed earlier.
Quite an interesting flavor. I think it would only be better with a scoop of French vanilla ice cream and some whipped cream. But then, there aren't many cold foods that that doesn't apply to, so it's not that surprising. ;)

(Yes, this is a dinner roll plate, so don't freak out that I got some sort of immense, mutant pear. And, yes, that's as reduced as I could get the fruit, but it's still quite tasty.)
