Defining stupidity
2011-Sep-08, Thursday 03:12 pmSo, at the much-touted Retardican Presidential Debate, Mitt Romney had the GREATEST thing ever said by anyone thus far on this campaign, as far as rebuilding the economy goes.
He said, in effect, that his jobs proposals that he made in Nevada earlier in the week were a very different change to what Obama was doing. That the American people were wanting and needing a change from this 'failed Administration'. Yet, everyone who read it agrees: everything Romney put in his jobs plan was tax cuts, tax cuts, tax cuts. Precisely the bullshit that got us into this mess under W. Yeah, what failed before it totally going to work now solely because it's 'theoretically' opposite to Obama. I said it with quotes because one of the reasons I've left the Obama train is that he has been putting far too many tax cuts, and continuing tax breaks for super-corps and super-rich. These policies don't work. Period. Under St. Regan, in fact, taxes went through the roof as did the deficit. Yet, somehow his policies were exactly the opposite of what happened in the eyes of the Tea Party and their flunkies???
Yeah. The right wing of this country has truly jumped the shark, in every way. Which is too bad, really. I'd pay good money to see most of that side be the chum on this year's Shark Week.
