So, what do you think about the idea of legalizing 3-person, or heck, even 4-person marriages?

As long as there is a clear-cut, directed understanding of expectations, and that all parties involved are mature, responsible, and understanding, as well as agreeable to the notion, I don't see a problem with it at all. Love is not always monogamous. And while I dislike the notion that the Moron community, at large, had put forth about it (1 man, as many wives as he wanted, to ensure his seed survived), I also dislike the social stigma that's grown around marriage in general. If a woman wants two husbands, and they get along with each other, then who cares? The illusion of a standard form of marriage, perpetrated and reinforced by legislation like the Defense of Marriage Act, is beyond anything resembling a farce. But then, our society was originally formed by those who couldn't survive in Europe because their own religious views were too absurd for the commoner there.

Sad, but true. But then, I'm also all for removing the vast majority of litigation outstanding on the court systems nowadays anyway. Justice, in this country, is still hit-and-miss, and very, very arbitrary. But the overloads on the courts because of Stubbed-Toe-Means-$14Million lawsuits and other frivolous crap. Even more than half the divorce things going on.
