I hadn't heard of this series until this morning, while puttering around Amazon's tech geek bookery.

No More "Hack and Patch": Hardening series

The titles alone vaguely hint toward a cutesy series of bad, tacky comix, but if they're actually useful, these sound like very good resources.

*chuckle* A good friend of mine co-authored that. Robert MacMullen. It's a good book. The guy on the front, is -very- representive of what -all- the authors looked like. I tell you no lie!
