Unfuckingbelievable.

I'm so glad to be an American, where the rights and priveleges of the free extend just as far as the Ultra Conservatives choose to let it. Kill. Them. All. Pull that big fucking red level; it's time to reset this level.

Non-obscene poetry to be quelled anyone?

How DARE she have an opinion and put it into a poem!

I love that one article where it listed a bunch of quotes about "God's judgement, yadda yadda" and asked the reader to guess which quotes were uttered by a Taliban cleric, and which ones were attributed to an American right wing conservo-christian.

All the ones you thought would be taliban were american nutty christans.

It suggested the name "American Taliban" for these folks.

Reminds me of a cartoon I saw in a not so recent issue of MAD magazine. The picture of Bush and his wive waving goodbye to a woman being lead around in handcuffs by police. The caption below her stating, "I only said his tie was ugly." Free speech is down the tubes, first the military disciplining that general for talking in churches about his relgion while not defaming others, and now schools doing this - a peotry class of all things. Where you learn to be expressive, so what will their class requirments be now? Think of new rymes to follow the scheme 'Roses are red, violets are blue'? How about this one, "Roses are red, violets are blue, your opinions don't matter, only the governments' do."
