Amazing. Pure eye candy. The technology was something out of the original Dune, with David Lynch's retro look and feel, but hot damn, I loved every inch of it. I won't go into the storyline, as I refuse to give any sort of spoilers that might deter watchers. The armor, though, truly made it for me. While I'd have been thrilled with the story and effects as they were, seeing those men in what seemed to resemble metallic corsets on the lower warriors..... Damn. I need to make sure to get the DVD when it comes out, just to have a pattern to craft some.

*grins* Well, sucked is kind of harsh. But it treads very flagrantly on a couple of other action/adverture/death/maim/kill/cheer the anti-hero at every turn movies of the past couple of decades. And while I thoroughly loved those movies as well, and this one as well, some might think it too trite to go. :)

Vin trivia time!

Diesel did the voice for the Giant in The Iron Giant. He's also an avid D&D player.
