Hooray! I got the domain back online this morning, finally, after all sorts of misfires and faulty attempts. Now to just finish the domain reg. and get it transferred over to VeriSign. I can start sending and getting email properly, again, already verified.

Now for the million dollar questions about Win2K server:
1. Does anyone out there know how to get the server to act as a passthrough for some clients it handles, and a DHCP server for others? This new configuration allows me to have 5 user configurable IP's, and I like the notion of being able to set up various machines with static IP's so file sending via ICQ will work again. But I don't have enough to IP everything in the apartment, so I will need to continue DHCP services for other machines.

2. Anyone have any thoughts about why networking would be incredibly spotty via DHCP? As in, mapping a network drive to the server, with a valid ID and password, will often times lead to 'Network name no longer available' errors when writing or accessing a file. The file gets created, fine, and saved as a zero K file. Trying to save over it with the same name will sometimes yield the same error, sometimes it will save it with no problems. Very odd.

Anyway, thanks for any help, and this whole move is finally just about settled in. YAY!
