I played the demo down at E3 a few months ago, and I thought it was just fantastic. Better than the first, to be sure, and it's not like the first game was bad by any stretch of the imagination! I was quite pleased by what I saw.
Incidentally, did I ever tell you that I got to work with the guy who does Sly's voice? It was down in Los Gatos, and I kept on trying to resist the urge to giggle while talking to him, because my mind just kept making me listen to his voice, wanting to have sex with it.
Oh, I'm totally with you. Though my idea of 'sex' with Raccoonus voice is certainly different than most others, I certainly would have difficulty not .... pushing for those sorts of scenarios with the worker. :) Luckylucky fox.
As to the game, I have no idea if its out yet or not, I just saw an ad. And DAMN is he even cuter than he was in the first one. Not to mention the rendering of characters and such seems even more robust and better than the first one, and you're right, that's going somewhere. Not to mention that he can now, apparently, use his hookstaff for picking pockets that just looks obscene. ;)
