Eagle sighting!

Thanks to the Discovery channel for reminding me. A couple of weeks ago, when heading to a local fur's place to prep for a shindig he was throwing, we were driving up the Columbia basin across SR-14. And flying over the river, about 500 feet away, there was a fully grown, absolutely fucking gorgeous, bald eagle flying and hunting. Damn, I see why they became the national bird and all. It really was a truly beautiful sight.
