ssurgulYou know, this new and improved computer generated cartoon is almost worthy. Almost. If only they hadn't so FLAGRANTLY ripped off Power Rangers, who so flagrantly ripped off Voltron for fusing lots of mechs together to form a mega-mech. Come on, guys. Something a little more original please. I mean, come on. At least Beast wars had smooth, shiny semi-furs in total robotic forms. :)
And, on two larger ships, travelling at steady speed, computers (with automated tracking) are naturally unable to actually target ANYTHING. *sigh* Come on. Let's at least make the 'bots competent and capable, as well as sexy.
On the plus side, there are the requisite feeble humans (read: hostages/captives). And the semi-cute male lead is flitting around in what looks like a latex bodysuit with some nice semi-mech armor over it. Perhaps he's being mechanized over the course of the show. THAT would at least keep me coming back for more. ;)
