Well, today I received a call back from the Century 21 Timeshare sales folk, after having asked for a call back on Friday. Wow. Actual, real customer service. Who'd have thunk it?

He covered a whole lot of information with me, a lot was obvious and known, but better to be safe than sorry. He has it listed for a specific dollar value now, which doesn't include closing costs, which are essentially paid by the buyer, but since I have to reduce my asking price by that amount, it could also be said that I'm covering it. Regardless.

It's not an immediate sale sort of deal, but you know what? I'm good with that. As long as this pile of shit is out of my paws within a month or two, I'll be fucking thrilled.

Yummy!

2 cans tuna (normal sized, in water)
1 16 oz. bag of elbow macaroni
2 regular pickles
2 hard cooked eggs
Spicy Mustard
Lite Mayonaise
Ranch Dippin' Sauce (a buttermilk based sauce in a squeeze tube by Best Foods)

Cook mac per instructions (typically boil it up in water for 8-12 minutes)
Dice pickles
Dice eggs
Add solids to mixing bowl
Fold in mayo and mustard to just slightly dry (about 1/2 cup mustard, 1 cup mayo)
Add Dippin' Sauce to moisten (about 1/3-1/2 cup)

Enjoy! (I certainly am. ;))

Wow.....

Tron 2.0. That's really all that needs to be said, but I'll expound anyway.

What a fucking game! The graphics are so smooth, and wonderful; they're almost like the movie went through several iterations and then brought back to the screen. It's a perfect First Person Shooter, with some light cycle action thrown in for humor value. One of the more delightful aspects of the game is that as you progress, you find little data tokens. Each data token, and each major accomplishment you have, add levels to your current 'build number'. Even though you're a user that gets digitized again, you still upgrade yourself as per a computer program. It's just so fucking cool. The new enforcer bad guys (the hotties in the red circuitry), the ICP's, are actually hollow programs. And with the right scene looks, you can indeed see through them.

Buy it. Play it. Suck down the addiction. You know you want to.

Tonight, Channel 12 covered 3 things that are just perfect.

First is http://www.perverted-justice.com. This site, for those that don't know, is a site devoted to 'busting' 'wanna-be-pedophiles'. Guys masquerade in chat rooms as 14-year old girls, and tease along with chat to 'expose' would-be pedophiles. But since nothing actually happens, they (as quoted from Channel 12) simply expose them to the Court of Public Opinion, by posting their picture and all the chat. There are so many things wrong with it, I can't even begin to list.

Second, a halfway house that houses 1 sex offender was the subject of a town hall meeting, to try and eject it because of that single offender. As a fat, nasty woman was quoted, 'No sex offender should be that close to a school and church.' A CHURCH?? WTF does a Church have to do with a sex offender?? Many of the churches I've seen lately don't have altar servers anymore, with the continued disenchantment of the church. Perhaps this one does, I don't know. But, some of the possible subtexts just sicken me. You'll likely get sick and tired of hearing me ranting against these fuckwads for persecuting a single portion of 'reformed' criminals. But, this is just so amazingly unethical and immoral, by people claiming to be morally upstanding people that 'just want to keep their neighborhood nice'. An unknown official/policeperson was quoted as having said 'It's easier for offenders to integrate back into society if their neighborhood supports them.' Huh. Oh, but wait, that's right. Christian love and value is good only for those that are at least as good as the one giving it out. (Prejorative, yes, but the exception to that is so tiny, when dealing with Xians that it really has become the rule.)

Third, a Salem neighborhood is trying to get an adult bookstore's 24 hour operation permit revoked, because it will lower the value of the neighborhood and will just attract more crime. Weird. Having been in several adult bookstores, at various times of day and night, the only thing that's happened to me is being propositioned by some fairly unattractive men. I've seen more damage, vandalism, drug use/dealing, and brawling in front of convenience stores. But obviously the sexual propositioning is a far, far greater crime and threat. Because, after all, lower and middle class kids would NEVER possibly conceive of selling drugs or doing them. Not Johnny. Never Johnny. He's too smart and too much a good boy to be the drug dealer that's standing there, in all his clothes, and with his face. Christ -- I wish he walked around naked, and had it documented. So many of these issues and 'laws' and 'crimes' would never have been a problem.
