Out on jobdango.com (an Oregon-only job posting/finding tool), while searching for a new job, I found this one where I think they meant it as a monthly cost in the short description.  But hell, I'd HAPPILY take that wage on an hourly!

Salary:        $3,916.00 - $5,333.00/Hour
