ssurgulHoe. Lee. Fuhhh. King. Shhhhhh. It.
Just saw The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. And DAMN was it hawt. Not just in the ways most would (rightly so) figure I'd enjoy it, but most of the effects were spectacular. And as with Return of the King, when they wanted a war, they pulled everyone together they possibly could to fill the screen. And filled it was. The acting for the Witch was just stellar. And of course the fauns, satyrs, centaurs and minotaurs (the big reasons I originally went, yes) were ..... beyond pure-hawtness. Just pure heaven in fuzz and fur.
Oh, yes. And for those quad-fanciers we have out there.... Don't look too closely. Unfortunately most of the minor details (paws, paw motion, tail flicks and the like) were flawless, but in the full shots, the bodies tended to move .... oddly.
