Now if that wasn't the cutest...

This morning the roommate was in the hall, polishing his sunglasses for his trip to work.  BJ sees this, and because of the position of the hands, presumes that in fact what's happening is the roommate is 'actually' making a treat even better for the dog.  So, he sits up repeatedly, trying to earn the treat.  From simply invasive and insecure to a total mooch.  At the very least, at least now he's acting even more like a dog, which makes me so very happy.

Again, yaaay for healthy pooch! I've been blessed with a perpetually mellow cat who knows how to play, knows how to cuddle, and knows how to protect his own ass outside in the neighborhood.

*chuckles and nodnodnodnods* That's how all my cats have been, from just generally affable toward me to a rather uncontrolled stray that was more wild than tame. Even so,though, I'm just thrilled BJ is finally shaking off the past, and being more canine in his general demeanor. Now to just get his ears cleaned out and fixed, and his teeth cleaned off and polished, he'll be just about 100% pooch.
