ssurgulSorry dude. You fucked up. Royally. There IS no applicability to legal statute you've got going on. The law back in '96 set this company clearly apart from culpability. Yet, because it's a whacked out group that claims to threaten funding, you all panicked.
You caved. You caved to religious nutballs. I'm not sure what you deserve for this, but believe me, none of my options are good.
As soon as I can find anything else that will fit my needs, I'm out of here. Sure, I'm one voice, but I pay my dues. I pay for this service. And I refuse to pay for any service that allows itself to be jerked around at the likes and whims of truly dangerous groups like the WFI. I don't care how high-minded you try and make your motives sound -- you caved to pressure that has nothing whatsoever to do with little things like freedoms. Bah, who needs those. If you were TRULY going to be cleaning things up, you'd tackle the other side of the coin too, and find any and all Christian groups that promote violence to gays, women seeking abortion, other religious groups, anyone of any ethnicity, etc. Your ToS claims you can't manage this because there's too much.
Well guess what. This is my official claim against those self same groups. Perhaps various gay groups ought to troll through the Xian communities themselves and give you summons for litigation due to the hate speech that goes on there too. Sorry, your argument is entirely lost on me, and is utter bullshit.
And if this gets me banned for speaking my mind and piece, well, so be it. I really have zero respect for you and yours anyway.
This was a great source of inspiration and such. But nuking things because they 'promote pedophilia' is one thing, whereas terminating groups and people because they enjoy TEXT-BASED stories that have no bearing on ANYTHING related to real life far exceeds any level of reality. Nuking someone because they list an interest in something and then have no association with groups or literature related to that goes even further.
