Wow. Truly, to the victor go the spoils..
2008-Apr-13, Sunday 10:12 pmEven when it's history rewriting time.
Or perhaps I was just never aware of it in the first place.
http://www.madmanmike.com/us_holidays_dates.html contains a listing of a great many holidays, most relatively well known, some rather .... odd. One I find particularly questionable is 'Loyalty Day' celebrated on May 1st. Hm. Now what was celebrated in most pagan belief systems/religions on May Day, and why were all those children dancing around a maypole decorating it again? And now it's being taken over as 'Loyalty Day'. I weep for the future of actual Democracy.
