So, last night with the help of Derek, I went and raided the local Goodwill for a used VCR. My plan is to convert all my old VHS tapes (actual porn and personal porn alike) to .avi files and store them so the balance of the video tapes can be sold on eBay or just disposed of. The ATI All-In-Wonder 9600 card I had laying around had the input dongle, so I am able to feed the A/V into the system. It's PERFECT. But on a much more humorous note, I found an old remote that worked with the VCR, so I attempted to set the date on it. The year field only ran from 1991 to 2006. I guess even the manufacturer (Sony) figured that tape machines were only going to be around so long.... ;)
