*laughs softly* I used to have gay and BDSM pride stickers on my cars. I know the whole vandalism thing can happen; it's a risk and an acceptable one. It just reinforces that the Religious Nutballs can't handle any level of criticism against their unassailable beliefs.
The longer I live the more I realize that beliefs should never be unassailable. Facts are all verified and mutable as collective understanding grows.
I understand that having faith in something that claims that it is the only truth makes it hard to give up. I don't think they need to give anything up, but they need to relax and realize other people can come to other conclusions.
