Today on Bonanza, which I'm watching because I'm lazily filling out LJ and other things, I happened to see Michael Landon talking with John Astin (Yes, that's Gomex Addams, for those tracking such) who introduced himself as the following person:
Abner Willaby, an able-bodied seaman, headed to Glory Hole.
