I just witnessed a McDonald's ad, clearly targeting the average, aging yuppie/gen X'er, wherein they cited the following:

Because your family deserves the very best.

Ummmmmmm, wow. It truly seems there was a big oil burning party at that marketing dept. And perhaps they tossed some ceremonial herb into said oil too. Ghods I hope so.

I remember having a friend that worked for McD's a few years ago, and having a look through his employee manual.

We all got a chuckle from their three class of customers: "Light/Occasional Users. Regular/Daily Users. And, Heavy Users."

Not only was it funny that they would refer to their customers as "users". But that how could have an entire class above daily?

Then again, I used to know a guy that seemed to eat there for every meal.

Bleah!
