Went and saw Land of the Lost tonight. It was everything I'd hoped it would be (hot-damn!!!! those new Sleestak are sooooooooo much tastier than the originals), and it wasn't anything I hoped it wouldn't be (a movie with an actual plot, taking itself seriously, doing much to damage the sanctity of the pure cheese-factor of the original series). I only wish we could have seen more of the mating .... time of the sleestak and that Marshall had kept his promise at the motel regarding Chaka. ;)

Amusingly, I had much the same response when I saw the new ad for Subway that featured the Sleestak in it. Soooooo sexy. I can only imagine the trouble I'd have gotten into if there were actually scalies floating around like that and I found one at a restaurant. Ahhhhh for the 70's with anonymous trips to the bathroom.... ;)
