WOW! That sauce turned out to be incredible with the steak, potatoes and mixed vegetables I made as well. All hail Alton for the inspiration and basic cooking methodologies.
Truth to tell? I used it as all three, just to see if it would accent each one pleasantly. It worked out beautifully for the veggies and steak. Unfortunately it kind of fell apart a little on the potatoes as I used a bit much butter on them, which didn't help the flavor of the sauce too much.
