Two trailers, for things that are MUST'S for me at least.

Tron Legacy: http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/movie-talk-tron-legacy-comic-con-trailer.html

(This doesn't even alter my desire to see the movie at all, oddly. I was definitely going to see the flick before, but now that the basics of the plot are finally out there, it only reinforces that this is definitely a movie for me. Even though there's not nearly so much 'actual' spandex hawtness around, the movie is just looking to be truly, truly amazing.)

(Starcraft 2. MMMmmm, I was seriously getting ready to save to buy before this. Again, now that there's more plot revealed, it's a certainty. I had played a beta of the game at Fry's back a few weeks ago. VERY rich graphics and AI. It kicked the hell out of me, but I have no idea what difficulty level it was set to, so I don't feel too bad about that. But it's so smooth and rich.... Anyway, looks like it's the must-have brand new title of the year.)

1) I want a set of Lightcycle model toys like those displayed on the bookshelf in the first ten-seconds.

2) Tron 2.0 looks the awesome. I love the clean, sterile look with neon emphasis. It's a version of the future or cyber-realm that I can fully support. Watched Robocop last night. Gawds, the attempt by the 80s to make 'the future'. One franchise I'd enjoy seeing a good reboot from with this new, better style of future.

3) Starcraft 2. Need much be said? I've never bought a game for $60 but this one is going to probably be the first. Of course, I'll wait a week or two, hear the public opinion before going crazy.

*chuckles* Ah, yes, the delights of the 80's dystopian flicks. So many, so bad. :)

Yeah, I'm getting rather tired of this 20% bump in PC games when historically they've been cheaper than the console games. Probably have to wait on it or something, but we'll see.

And as to those toys, well, I'm much more intrigued by the new look-see of the lightcycles and Recognizers in the clip. December can't get here soon enough it seems.
