Sen. Mitch McConnell should die in a fire

Tomorrow. This was his statement on the notion of how he intends to run his caucus in the Senate, even if his party doesn't regain majority:

"I'm not gonna be very interested in doing things left of center. It's going have to be center-right, and I think the President's a flexible man."

Yeah, because the American Fucking People handing your party one of the must stunning losses EVAR means absolutely nothing at all. You just keep hammering away with your lies and gamesmanship.

So long as the Dems keep the majority, I sincerely hope they do away, entirely, with single-senator holds, the filibuster, and every other bullshit rule that can give the minority party any power to hold the government hostage. These fucks have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that they are the ones that DO NOT LISTEN to the American people. And that when they pretend to do so, they accompany that 'effort' with a nice shot of spit in the eye of the People.

The (R) after names clearly stands for Retard. Maybe we should forcibly confine them to State Hospitals for the Criminally Insane since they have proven time after time that they can't tell the truth any more, in any regard.

Politics is not about telling truths. As long as you can manipulate enough people, that's all that matters. I really hope republicans don't fare as well as they think they will this Nov but with peoples short memories I worry they'll grab enough seats to continue screwing things up.

Honestly? I really hope the Dems are able to gain about 4 more seats in the Senate overall, and retain a majority in the House. Then, the Congress will finally be able to do things without pissing all over excellent legislation just to try and get Retardican votes for it, which will never, ever come in the current situation. Watering down strong legislation to truly fix the problems in the country serves no one but the Retardican agenda for keeping Obama from succeeding. That's really all I'd need to be happy with the current political situation.

We'll see though. No one can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory like the Democratic party.
