LotR: The Trilogy

ssurgulYou know, watching the BluRay boxset for the series that I picked up some time ago, I realized something. Occasionally technology happens 'too late' for really amazing things to happen. Avatar was and is one of my favorite movies. I just can't get over it. But yet, I was struck as I was watching the LotR trilogy how much MORE impressive all the fights and visuals would have been if this series too had been in the digital 3-D technology.
Ah well. It's still one of my favorite series of movies, and likely will never be removed from that list, since so many other sequels are pure garbage nowadays.
