That's the first of 3 parts to the debate between "Dr." (he's got a degree but it's not from an accredited institution, but he's expecting people to call him Dr. anyway. Yeah, I've got an uncredited degree from the Divine College of Dumbfuckistan Challengers, and our mission is to financially destroy rejects like you Kent, so get ready, and you better DAMN well call me Dr. while I'm doing it. ;)) Kent Hovind and Dr. Massimo Pigliucci.
It's truly fascinating to watch all the self-referential 'evidence' cited by Hovind, and the unassailable 'facts' he presents which demand (actually, beg the question for) Creation by an Intelligent Designer. The knots he has to work himself into to try and 'prove' that Evolutionary Biology (Dr. Pigliucci's field) is just smoke, mirrors, worshiping the god Time are just staggering. When asked simple questions, he can't answer them or won't answer them in any rational fashion. And he quotes the Bible as proof of the Dr.'s reticence and intentional blindness to 'Truth' in this. Wow. This is the world as Palin would have it. And people wonder why I get so angry about this? Because if no one on the Left gets angry about this, and draws lines in the concrete, and pushes back HARD against this type of crazy.... We get elections stolen again and again by Bush 2.0 or 3.0 or whatever the current Rev. Level is for the Evangelical nutballs.
