I just had my interview thingy at Western Culinary Institute. I'm totally on board with attending; I think it'd be GREAT to work in the types of restaurants they're talking about. I think it'd be super-nifty to go work in Florida or California at one of the Disney resorts, or perhaps the Marvel Superhero Island. Some of you know already why, and yes, you're right -- cast contacts/playtimes. Regardless.
They want $36K for a 15 month curriculum. Jesus. I'm glad they provide all the pastry and cooking utensils for that money. That way they can carve my ass into a hundred different, appealing dishes, after they're done raping me.
Gah. Time to really ponder this while filling out more and more paperwork. And time to really investigate this scholarship site and see if there are sucker.... eerrrrrrr, contributors willing to assist me in my transition.

But it seems to have worked for him, and at least they can't farm out fresh pastry overseas :)
