Well, that's definitely something everyone should go through too. As a followup to the appointment previously, wherein I found out that I was allergic to a great many things, today was the first day of immunotherapy. This means that for the next 6-12 weeks, I'll be receiving two sessions of shots a week. But, for those thinking else, it's a shot in each arm, given how allergic I am to the variety of bits. What fun. At least there were no 'major reactions' or even minor ones to offset the preliminary work, and to dictate using smaller doses that would take even longer to get me to where I want to be.

No, no, 12 weeks is what I have to do for the minimum of 2 shots weekly. Once I hit maintenance dose, then they'll likely move me to single weekly shots for another few months. Then I'll go to monthly for a few years. Theoretically by then I should have buffed up my immune system to fight this crap off naturally. We'll see.
