Caught up on the DVR action

So, I kind of let my DVR get overfull for a bit, courtesy of work and school stress. Well, for the next couple of hours, they're both abated. So I'm getting caught up again. And I'm watching The Cape. I have to wonder if I'd have continued reading X-Men and the other comics I did read when I was young if they were written as .... coarsely and goofily as this show is written. I'm hoping to see some decent hawtness of villains, but as of yet .... Yeah, this better get a LOT better and sooner than later. I guess after House and BSG and others, I'd forgotten just how bad really badly written TV dramas could be.
