Libya and shoes

So, many of us recall that Bush was assaulted by hurled shoes on one of his later little visits back to his enforced democracy. He blew it off and even offered the size of the shoes being too thick, dense and stupid to realize what an insult that was in that country. Now there are reports that people in Libya, on seeing their dictator's speech, were throwing their shoes at the TV bearing the broadcast. I wonder if Bush makes the connection between himself and this dictator in the people's minds or if he just sits there, amid a nice brush-free home, and wonders how big THOSE shoes are that are being thrown.

Well, after Rummsfeld's MSNBC interview with Andrea Mitchell where he denied any culpability of any sort for anything that happened BY HIS OFFICE during the run up to the Iraq war, it just reinforces that the Moron Brigade that was "elected" back then had absolutely no clue what they were doing. And they're now fighting as much as they're able to make their documented history into life-giving fertilizer rather than the steaming shitsmear it was across our Constitution and the global history.
