2 smaller limes, halved
Hand juicing through squeezing (inefficient and will need to look at juicy thingy)
Add 12 oz water to the juice in the glass
2 tsp (or so) regular white sugar (and will be investigating agave nectar, and honey as vaguely healthier options)
Mix thoroughly and try

Meh. Needs more experimentation to find the right balance.

EDIT: Added one more teaspoon of sugar to try and balance the tartness better. Improved the flavor somewhat. I think the problem is more that I'm just not used to actual fresh juice limeade -- restaurants and beverage bottlers spoil everything.

Yes, how dare those people make it less work and more enjoyable for us to consume a myriad of beverages while sitting on our duffs. :D

Have you ever tried a Lime Ricky? It's one part Limeade to one part Grape Soda.

*chuckles* More that they make it 'easy' by putting all sorts of crap in the beverages that have nothing to do with the 'actual' ingredients, to make it smoother, more flavorful and all sorts of less natural.

And no, I haven't. Though, given what I tried the other week (a lemon wedge in a glass of wine) that actually doesn't sound bad at all....
