I mean come on.
He's a 42 year old that's dead-set on living like he has just turned 21 again. For what seems to be the rest of his life. He 'married' a guy from a different country, a country he has no immediate capability of getting into. A guy that is just over half his fucking age. Come on.
He's hawt, definitely. He looks even better in full rubber and/or puppy gear, sure. He's a sweet guy, and one that is likely going wholly unappreciated. But he's made his choice. A choice that you've decided many years ago is just not worth it. At all.
What he wants is entirely incompatible with what you're after. You learned this lesson with Michael many years ago. You still have residual nerve damage from that. Is that what you want more of? He's not worth it. Stop pining, and just move on. If he ever had any 'serious' intentions those have long since been revealed as just being "Hey let's play-fuck!!" intentions. Again, not what you're after, especially not with someone like that.
You made your case, you made your offer. He turned it down. Twice. That's your gateway. It's time to move beyond this crap. You're tired of living in the past, and keeping a torch burning for someone that .... if he's not entirely clueless about it just doesn't care about it. Let it go. Extinguish the torch, and just move on.
