Alarm clocks in dreams

I genuinely hate it when I'm sleeping, and the alarm goes off beside me, and then in my dreams I incorporate it somehow, so I just think it's part of the dream. Take for instance this morning. I heard it going off. In my dream, I cursed profusely, and I and my partner (who was only a dream-figment and now has faded as to who it was 'supposed to be') went on a house-hunt to find it, and disable it, but it wouldn't STFU. Consequently, it took an extra hour to realize that I was supposed to wake up. Stupid imagination.
