Duplicate title efficiency!

ssurgulWow. Just got off the phone with the California DMV, who happily told me that my duplicate title request was made for Oct. 12th, so I can expect to receive the title anywhere between Oct. 12th and Nov. 12th. Now that's the majesty and wonder of a beauracracy hard at work to save the tax payers dollars.
