Anger Management project
2002-Jun-30, Sunday 12:37 pmPhase 1: Disempowerment
When accepted, revisit how much anger is still remaining, once your new outlook is accomplished for the next phase
- Establish a viable timeframe for establishing project
- Realize that disempowering the anger is the first step to real anger management
- Remove as much of the 'reason' for getting angry as possible, because of external or internal influences
- Realize when your motivations/expectations are flawed because of others' failings
- Realize when your motivations/expectations are flawed because of your own failings
- Take what steps you can take to achieve a different outlook toward others and yourself to accomodate a more forgiving mindset and expectation set
- Realize when your motivations/expectations are flawed because of others' failings
Phase 2: Management of remaining
- Now that 'real' scope of anger is found, root out causes of anger
- Upon realizing root causes of anger, either take steps to correct these perception issues, or move to a mechanism for releasing anger without harming self or others in legally/socially unacceptable manners.
- Explore possibilities, within employment requirements, to utilize gyms, shooting ranges, bicycle tracks, etc. to find outlets for anger when no other alternative exists.
