"It's funny.... I met a girl today. All she really wanted to do was understand. Why she feels the things she does. Maybe that's all any of us want: just .. to understand."

Hrm. I have to say that I thought the premise for this new show on Fox would be fairly lame and thin. But actually, it's turning out to be rather amazingly entertaining. It's definitely a Buffy-esque, Angel-esque raping of the main character, and tossing her feelings into a blender and leaving them on frappe'. But overall, thus far, it's developing very nicely. I may even have to devote some Tivo time to it, in fact.

I've been enjoying it since nikari has got me watching it, though I have a feeling it won't last long if they don't figure out ways not to make it repetitive :-/

Well, I can't see them making it not 'that repetitive' unfortunately. These 'surprise' deaths and such are the only main plot driver they have right now, which is kinda too bad. But I am going to be annoyed if they keep pilfering other, better developed plots, like last night's Flatliners ripoff.

Only time will tell, though. And here's hoping Whedon gets heavily involved with it at some point. It really seems to smack of his sort of drama.
