Gay penguin hotness!
2009-Jun-03, Wednesday 08:34 pmOk, so not really. Bird-on-bird sex isn't that hot at all, at least not to me.

However, I am now quite intrigued to see the results after the chick has been reared properly. There was an article I read last year about a gay penguin couple at the NY zoo, which was actually quite amusing in its way, when the zookeeper talked about nesting and territory behaviors and habits of the two gay penguins when compared to the other penguin pairings. What struck me most, though, was that the zookeeper felt that if they provided an 'actual' egg to the gay penguins, and they raised it properly that they would then decouple and find other partners the following season, perhaps even hetero couplings. Without interfering with them, it would be quite interesting to see if that's the case, or if the gay penguins above actually do come back together, and 'remate' as it were, with or without offspring.
