Is it just me....?

I've never modded my IE to load to any page other than msn.com, the default.  And for a long time, I was simply overwhelmed, and disappointed, and annoyed by the amount of crap and clutter and whatnot on the opening page.  And now....  Today I fire up IE again, and suddenly everything's neat, tidy, and much more serene.

Huh.  Yet again, MS 'innovates' with standards and ideals that everyone else has had for years.  Way to stay well behind the game, guys!

Yep. Precisely how I felt at several of my corporate gigs and the like. Although, there are good reasons to stay behind the curve by a rev level or two, stability and reliability being two of the biggest. However, when dealing with IE, and particularly the front page, since the old-new stuff WAS more reliable and stable and user friendly, the only reason they wouldn't is the typical MS reason: 'We're so fucking awesome and great, you better worship our asses for giving you bad crap. Otherwise, we'll force a new key finder on you, and make you reinstall EVERYTHING!'

...you could just get a Mac Mini, run Windoze when you have to, and run Firefox in Mac OS whenever you want to get anything accomplished. ;)
