It only took an hour and 15 minutes of practically yelling at various people, and indeed actually yelling at one poor moron, but I finally got Sprint to untangle my account, and get me the fucking phone I'd been trying to get for the past 2 weeks, as well as all the account changes I had asked for. Wow. Never believe that when someone says they can get a pricematch done for one of their competitors that it'll happen easily.

When did you get on sprint? Do you not just use the company phone?

When I had problems with sprint in the past, I gave up on trying to get help over the phone. I go into a sprint store and ask one of the sales people for help, and they get to go round and round on the phone with their own CS department while I play with the display phones. When I was having issues with unsolicited $10 text messages, the counter guy went through 3 Cs reps (hung up on two of them) before getting things straightened out. :(

I've been with Sprint for a bit now, and until now I hadn't really had any problems. Their SERO plan was just flat-out amazing and that was what prompted all this. That and being able to get a PDA phone for work, even though it'll be my personal number.

As to using the company phone, no, I don't do that. Preston did that and was flirting with a beat-down from Andy. I'm flirting with one on other topics, but I respect the using the company phone for company business only policy.
